HOW to CLEAN Your Pudgy Perch

You can spray the perches with hydrogen peroxide.

Remove the perch and scrape off any droppings or food.

Spray the perch with over the counter hydrogen peroxide--3%. Let it fizz for ten minutes. Wipe it dry.

Apply HP again if needed. Let it fizz. Rinse with clean water and wipe very dry. Then secure it in the cage.

Unless otherwise needed, once a month or every other month cleaning with hydrogen peroxide is generally the rule with wooden perches.

Do not use detergents, soaps or industrial grade hydrogen peroxide. Do not leave wet. Do not soak.
Pudgy Perch Intact Bark

The beautiful hardwood Maple perches are durable and lovely to look at. The bark is cleaned, yet left intact; having multiple colors of muted greys, greens and white. They have smoother bark and generally are pruned from branches, or clustered, young trees. Most have bends and bumps for your bird's pleasure and fitness.

For this product, maple is generally used and is cleaned, but not filed. If Ash is used, the same applies. This perch has intact bark and like all our products are safely identified and NOT sprayed with any chemicals.
